Officer - MEAL & Documentation

The Opportunity
The Officer-MEAL & Documentation will be responsible for implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) plan of SWAP Project with the support of Sr. Manager MEAL assigned to Health & Nutrition Sector. S/he will be responsible for documentation of project and capturing lessons learned based on learning agenda, e.g. Vayu bCPAP and oxygen blender systems through developing and/or adopting relevant tools, design rapid assessment/mapping/survey tools. S/he will prepare activity and accomplishment reports based on implementation plan regularly. S/he will also track progress on performance indicators, analyse monthly performance and maintain MIS data. S/he will train project staff and other relevant staff from project supported health facility on DHIS2, FPMIS reporting under MOHFW, and assist in data collection and primary analysis, and feed into the program performance and reporting as well as presentation of project activities/performances in internal and external forums. S/he will assist in writing of case studies /success stories, conducting key informant interview and program implementation. S/he will coordinate with Project Manager-SWAP, other project team members and other MEAL colleagues, as required.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in MEAL, Documentation, preferably in maternal, neonatal health. Experiences in working at DHIS2, FPMIS in partnership with MOHFW and NGOs would be added value.
- Skilled in data management and analysis, data interpretation and report writing.
- Supportive supervision and motivation skills
- Excellent communications skills in both English and Bangla
- Skill in documentation, facilitation & reporting
- Extensive experience in computer operation particularly, in MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, SPSS.
- Ability to take initiative, independently as well as part of a team
- Master’s degree in social science or relevant discipline
