Assistant – Front Desk

The Opportunity

This position is mainly responsible for managing reception desk and handling telephone calls, PABX equipment at Dhaka office. S/he will meet and greet visitors and provide prompt, and efficient service to all visitors. S/he will Ensure proper operation of the switchboard, resulting in fast and efficient transferring of internal and external calls. S/he will receive all incoming mails/invoices and enter record in relevant register, ensure all mails are distributed promptly and accurately. S/he will receive cheques from finance and distribute to the concern vendors within the earliest possible time.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in managing PABX and front desk, preferably in an international organization. 
  • S/he should have understanding about relevant technology, troubleshooting knowledge, and understanding about basic admin functions.
  • S/he should have excellent operational knowledge on PABX, excellent verbal communication skills, especially in English and official telephonic communications.
  • Should be proficient in computer operation, particularly in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Business Studies/Social Sciences or relevant discipline.
