Assistant Project Officer – Child Led Advocacy for the right of the Children

The Opportunity

The Assistant Project Officer is responsible for providing technical support, strategic guidance to Field officer and community mobilizers for smooth implementation of the project activities by establishing and maintaining relationships with key local level stakeholders. H/She will support Project Manager to monitor project activities and generate report on progress to the Manager on a regular basis. The role holder will also support Manager on meeting the NGOAB compliance and related reporting, and monitoring district volunteers of National Children’s Task Force (NCTF).

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the relevant field including Child Rights, Child Rights monitoring and reporting, Child led Advocacy, Children and Youth engagement.
  • Basic knowledge in child rights and child protection issues in Bangladesh.
  • Ability to organize workshops/trainings/meetings.
  • Elementary knowledge about reporting.
  • Clear understanding of MEAL activity.
  • Capacity of developing training module.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and Bangla.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel, knowledge like SPSS or similar will be an advantage
  • Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline


Contract length: Contractual up to 31 December, 2022

Job Location: Dhaka
