Senior Officer – Awards

The Opportunity

This position holder will support the Manager- Awards in the areas of life cycle awards management. S/he will provide quality services to internal clients i.e. program point person/ budget holders. S/he will make the budget holders/project managers aware about the key deliverables. His/her responsibilities include, ensure donor compliance, BVA analysis, ensuring reporting quality, timely preparation and review of donor reports, facilitate aware implementation review meetings, maintain award related documentation, awards close out on time.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 4 years’ experience in Awards/Grants management function in any national or international organization. 
  • Sound understanding on life cycle Awards management.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data
  • Experience on managing major donor compliance requirements.  
  • Facilitate Award audits/Internal Audit etc.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration,
