Deputy Manager – Awards

The Opportunity
This position will support the Awards Manager in the areas of life cycle Awards Management. S/he will work closely with the program team to ensure timely submission of key deliverables. S/he will do critical analysis of the portfolio and suggest on the burn rate, no cost extension (NCE), cost extension (CE) and budget realignment.
S/he will make the budget holders/project managers aware about the key deliverables. His/her responsibilities include, ensure donor compliance, BVA analysis, ensuring reporting quality, timely preparation and review of donor reports, facilitate aware implementation review meetings, awards close out on time. S/he will also maintain the electronic and paper files of each grant and facilitate audit as and when required.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in Awards/Grants management function in any national or international organization.
- Sound understanding on life cycle Awards management.
- S/he should have experience of budgeting and budget management and proven track record in producing periodic reports.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and produce effective management information
- Experience on managing major donor compliance requirements.
- Facilitate Award audits/Internal Audit etc.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel
- Master’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration,
