Manager - Awards (Cox’s Bazar)

The Role
The Manager-Awards in his/her capacity supports the Deputy Director-Awards in all aspects of life cycle awards management includes proposal development, kick off, donor compliance, audit facilitation and close out. S/he will provide supervision and evaluation of staff. The position ensures quality services to clients in line with SCI Award Management Essential standards. S/he will support program point persons/budget holders in understanding award agreement, budget and key deliverables monitoring. The Manager is responsible for preparation of timely donor reports and critical analysis of the portfolio, No Cost Extension, Cost Extension etc.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 6 years of working experience within Grants/Awards Management, Program/Project management of a national or international organization, including 3 years in managerial position.
  • S/he should have experience of managing major donor compliances, ensuring reporting quality and IT system-based grants management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to maintain a good working relations with donors.
  • Should have the ability to analyze complex financial data
  • Excellent communication skill, ability to work under pressure
  • Hands-on experience on MS Office package, particularly in Excel
  • Ability to manage and contribute to a small, proactive team, motivating staff and working collaboratively with colleagues
  • Masters Degree in Business or development allied subjects.
