Deputy Manager – Service Delivery, SNMP (Re-advertise)

Save the Children invites applications for the above mentioned position for Strengthening National Midwifery Program (SNMP). This program will focus to enhance provision of equitable and high quality sexual, reproductive health and rights (SRHR) care to women at targeted areas, particularly in host communities of Cox’s Bazar. Qualified women are strongly encouraged to apply. Minimum requirements will be flexible for the potential female candidates. 

The role

The Deputy Manager- Service Delivery will coordinate with facility mangers, clinicians and other key stakeholders for facility readiness and capacity building of midwives and other SRMNH service providers to ensure evidence based maternity care. S/he will facilitate to establish Midwifery led continuum of care at targeted facilities, regular mentor to clinical mentor, midwives and other service providers to ensure quality SRMNH services. S/he will also support to facility staff for regular progress review and development local level planning and support to develop referral systems for high risk pregnant mothers and fistula cases in hard to reach areas of host communities in Cox’s Bazar.

Qualifications and experience

  • Medical Graduate (MBBS), preferably with MPH (Master’s in Public Health).
  • At least 5 years working experience, preferably in health program, especially in OBGYN.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Skills in prioritizing and organizing the work
  • Good in written and spoken English. 
  • Proficiency on computer using, MS Office

Contract length: Contractual up to December, 2019
