SOS Hermann Gmeiner College Dhaka www.soshgcdhaka.edu.bd   is one of the education projects of SOS Children’s Village International in Bangladesh www.sos-bangladesh.org  

Position: Vice Principal

Location of Job: Dhaka

Employment Status: Full Time

Area of Responsibilities:

  • Uphold educational policies and integrate the government guidelines into each class curriculum.
  • To make proper work plan for bright result in all public exam.
  • Create benchmarks for students and teachers and track progress towards those goals.
  • Develop programs that improve teachers’ performance and assist students in understanding class materials/activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with education Board, teachers and guardians.
  • Coordinate with Principal and monitor overall discipline of the entire college.
  • Uphold Mission, values and principles of SOS Children’s Village International in Bangladesh.

Qualifications:

  • Master Degree in any discipline from any recognized university. (Not less than 2nd Division / Class in any Public Examination.
  • Total service length 12 (Twelve) years with minimum 3 (Three) years of experience as Assistant Professor / Vice Principal / Head Master in any recognized educational institution or Minimum 5 (Five) years of experience as a Senior Lecturer in any recognized College.

Other Requirements:

  • Must have through knowledge of new curriculum.
  • Familiar with school software management
  • Strong command in English report writing and presentation.
  • High interpersonal skills and coordination skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Age limit between 40 to 50 years.

Salary & Benefits: Consolidated BDT 60,000.

After probation period of 06 (Six) months, upon confirmation, the incumbent will be entitled to receive a regular Salary Scale along with Festival Bonus, Contributory Provident Fund and Gratuity, Children’s Education Allowance, and Group Insurance (Death & Accidental) as per existing policy of the organization.
