1. Introduction
SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh is inviting qualified individual consultants or consultancy teams to submit proposals for the development of a structured training schedule, comprehensive curricula, flipcharts, and related learning materials for the GREEN Project. This initiative focuses on enhancing climate-resilient sustainable agriculture and economic empowerment in the Khulna region.
2. Organization Overview
SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh is a non-governmental social development organization that has been active in the country since 1972. We are dedicated to the care, protection, and advocacy for children who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it, while also implementing community-based initiatives like the GREEN Project to empower vulnerable groups.
3. Project Objectives
- Develop a structured training schedule on climate-resilient agriculture and livelihood skills.
- Design comprehensive, user-friendly curricula with local relevance and accessibility.
- Create visually engaging learning materials (flipcharts, handouts) in Bangla.
- Integrate awareness sessions on child protection topics linked to climate change impacts.
- Propose monitoring and evaluation tools to assess training effectiveness.
- Deliver a final report summarizing methodologies, materials, and improvement recommendations.
