SMC Enterprise Ltd has a vacancy for the following permanent position for its Head Office:
POSITION TITLE: CHIEF PLANT OPERATIONS OFFICER
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead all aspects of Plant Operations of Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Maintenance related activities for SMC plants to drive continuous improvement and innovation, technical and financial audits, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols.
- Plan & implement the capacity and manpower budget, optimize in line with Company’s strategic plan covering expansion, feasibility assessment, improvement in product quality and functionality, operational cost improvement, etc.
- Foster healthy Industrial Relations across SMC Plant Operations.
- Propagate cross functional collaboration with peers and across all functions.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in any discipline; MBA will be an added advantage
- At least 15 years of experience with 7 years in leading Plant Operations (Production, Operational Cost Management, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Product Development)
- Age maximum 55 years
- Strategic Thinking ability, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Change Management, Developing People & Financial Management skill
- Excellent knowledge on Production, Quality Assurance and Product Development
- Functional Skills:
- Budgeting & Controlling
- Interpret Financial Statements
- Sales & Operational Planning
- Communication: Proficiency in both English and Bengali Communication
- Information Technology: Microsoft Office. Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is considered an added advantage
