SMC Enterprise Ltd has a vacancy for the following position for Head Office:

POSITION TITLE: MANAGER, SALES OPERATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Head of the Division in strategic planning to see the bigger picture and setting aims & objectives for development and improvement of the business.
  • Assist the Divisional Head of Sales in preparing various Policy, SOP, Manual etc.
  • Identify opportunities and weaknesses within the overall sales team and make proposals to create value and increase operational efficiency.
  • Develop and oversee a smooth, effective sales process to enable the growth of the organization.
  • Implement and manage automation and other tools to increase sales process efficiency.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective customers and keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. where necessary.
  • Take accurate and comprehensive notes of meetings, prepare meeting minutes and draft correspondence such as memo, email, letter etc.
  • Undertake frequent field visit for monitoring the activities of field forces and report to Divisional Head of Sales.
  • Taking preventive measures for reducing product damage/date expiry.
  • Checking the stores of the Area Offices, Sales Officers and Distributors and ensure implementation of non-conforming product management guideline.
  • Collect regular market feedback and updates the Divisional Head of Sales.
  • Assist the Divisional Head of Sales to prepare the revenue & capital budget and presentations, to allocate sales projection among regional offices.
  • Assist Divisional Head of Sales for setting up region wise projection and update the month wise sales achievement and field promotional activities.
  • Assist in organizing Sales Management and other meetings, to review the annual sales performance and to organize the Annual National Sales Conference.
  • Assist the Divisional Head of Sales during the internal and external audit, prepare the draft of the audit response and follow up the implementation status of audit findings.
  • Work effectively with the other internal departments/divisions (Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance & Accounts, Human Resources and Administration, Engineering, Internal Audit etc. to bring operational efficiency.
  • Perform all other functions from time to time as instructed by the Divisional Head of Sales.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Masters /MBA from any reputed university
  • Minimum 07 years work experience in the field of sales operations where at least 03 years experience in similar role. Working experience in FMCG or Pharmaceuticals company will be preferred
  • Age: Maximum 45 years
  • Ability to develop sales related strategy and monitor implementation, perform data analysis, prepare reports, excellent communication & interpersonal skills both in English & Bangla
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (particularly in word, power point, excel)
  • Should have excellent written English communication skill
  • Ability to prepare different proposals including business deals with NGOs & Institutions
