Social Marketing Company, a large well-reputed not-for-profit company, involved in implementing health and family planning programs throughout the country, wishes to recruit the following position. The Company is implementing a project to set up a sustainable business model where affordable Multiple Micronutrient Supplements (MMS) Tablets will be available for the pregnant women across the country. The Company is therefore, looking to recruit a bright, talented, innovative and hard working individual for the following contractual position under MMS project.  The incumbent will be recruited initially for a two years period, which may be extended upon satisfactory performance.

Position Title: Marketing Manager, MMS Project (01 position)

Job Location: Head Office


Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Team Leader, MMS Project, the incumbent will lead the marketing team. S/he will work in developing the marketing plan of MMS, plan of demand creation strategies, developing all relevant BCC/IEC materials on MMS, ensuring high-quality MMS production locally, demand analysis, product requisition, planning, capacity strengthening of providers, organizing seminars, implementing and monitoring the MMS project both at national and local level. S/he will ensure the regulatory compliance of GoB and technical standard, protocol and guideline of donor and SMC. S/he will also collaborate with the project partners, TAG, IPHN, DGHS, DGFP, DGDA, donor, development partners and other relevant stakeholders to create a favourable environment for smooth implementation of MMS project at national level. This position will also play a critical role in building the capacity of different SMC branded network members (Pink Star, Blue Star and Green Star) for improving the nutritional status of pregnant women and their birth outcomes. The incumbent will share new knowledge/evidence and best practices through collaboration with relevant departments and personnel. S/he will provide technical guidance to the respective field team members for the effective implementation of the project related demand generation activities as well as ensuring quality of services.

Qualification & Experience:

  • MBA/M. Pharm /MSc. /MSS/ Masters in Nutrition/MPH.
  • Preferably eight (8) years’ experience in marketing at a senior level position in Pharmaceutical product marketing or has experience in implementing nutrition-focused public health project/program.
  • Preferably between 35 to 45 years’ age. For extraordinary candidates, age limit can be relaxed.
  • Excellent in developing marketing plan and demand creation strategies.
  • Excellent in designing different BCC/IEC materials, preparing work plan, organizing training, implementing and monitoring project activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Bangla.
  • Excellent in MS Office application suite.
