Social Marketing Company, a large well-reputed not-for-profit company, involved in implementing health and family planning programs throughout the country, wishes to recruit the following position. The company seeks a talented and aspiring candidate who would join our team and meaningfully contribute to reach the goal of SMC. The incumbent will be recruited as part time basis initially for one year period, which may be extended upon satisfactory performance.

Position Title: Consultant (Gynaecology & Obstetrics) - Part Time

Job Location: SMC Niltara Clinic, Dhaka Uddan, Mohammadpur, Dhaka

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsible for management of Gynae & Obstetric patients at OPD of SMC Niltara Clinic.
• Explain test results, diagnoses, and treatment to patients.
• Conduct routine check-up for ANC mothers.
• Counsel patients about disease prevention & detection, and reproductive health including family planning.
• Collaborate with other medical and non-medical personnel.
• Refer patients to other healthcare specialists as needed.
• Ensure maintaining standard quality of services. 
• Ensure confidentiality of information at all times. 
• Record and update patients' medical histories, reports, examination results in software.

 Qualification & Experience:

• MBBS, MS, FCPS (Gynae & Obs) with having updated BMDC registration (Consultants who are currently in service can also apply).
• At least 3 years’ experience in consultancy services in private hospital or clinic. 
• Proven working experience as a Gynecologist.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Expert diagnostic skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Empathetic and compassionate.
