Position : Factory Manager
Division / BU : EM MS
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing Lean processes within a manufacturing environment.
- Responsible to drive a strong safety culture throughout facility.
- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
- Responsible for the development and continuous improvement of Manufacturing processes and standard work related to assembly, testing, material presentation, packaging and shipment preparation
- Manufacturing Manager will work closely with support functions including: Operations Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities and Procurement to maximize customer satisfaction
- Must have the proven ability to collaborate and drive strong team work both within functional and cross functional teams.
- Must possess the ability to manage change.
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
- Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping and possess a passion for quality excellence
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
- Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
- Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
- Commit to plant safety procedures.
- Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
- Influence and learn from below.
- Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
Required Academic Qualifications
- Minimum B. Sc. Engineer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from any reputed university.
Required Experience
- 10 to 15 Years
- Experience in the relevant field in any quality focused manufacturing organization.
- Preferred experience in both a make to order and engineer to order environment
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Basic knowledge on Medium Voltage, Low Voltage System in Distribution Network
- Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing and work area EHS Practices
- Corrective and Preventive maintenance process
- Detail idea on Electrical test procedures of equipments and practices of standards
- Fluency both in written and verbal English & Bangla communication.
- Can work under pressure, self motivated, oriented with company goals.
