Position : Executive-MIS
No. of the Position : 1 (One)
Job Location : Head Quarter, Dhaka

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the MIS throughout the company at various levels are operating efficiently and is responsive to the needs of the users both at the operational levels as well as the head office for monitoring and strategic decision making.
  • Regularly monitors accuracy of data and compliance to quality standards both at the input and output levels through proper validation and verification.
  • Ensure the integrity of the data files maintained by clinics, regional offices and SHN Head Office.
  • Assist to respond to all USAID PMP indicators as per timelines through MIS output data.
    Implementation of M&E system, MEL plan, methods and tools at various levels.
  • Monitor progress against PMP indicators and contribute to prepare monthly, quarterly reports, and annual reports.
  • Building capacities of region offices and clinic on effective roll out of MEL system, MIS system and their implementation.
  • Identifying, defining, documenting and interpreting business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements and translating them into operational requirement with the help of strong analytical
  • Assist team to conduct periodic review and diagnosis of program indicators along with financial indicators that will reflect the overall performance of the company against the double bottom line objectives.
  • Conduct market research and qualitative analysis
  • Provide technical inputs for conducting studies such as baseline, Mid-Term Review, end line evaluation, evaluation, impact assessment etc.
  • Contribute towards developing a data driven evidence-based analytical culture through ensuring Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA) actions across the company.

Job Specifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in programmatic M & E or MIS;
  • Master’s degree in MIS related subject highly preferable i.e., Public Health, Development studies, Development Management, Economics, Business, Statistics etc.
  • Solid understanding and exposure to Monitoring & Evaluation, Logical Framework, Management Information System, Research
  • Methodologies both quantitative and qualitative, instrument development, data consolidation, reporting, information support for management decision making, etc.
  • Ability to conduct research works independently;
  • Strong technical skills required along with independent thinking, problem solving, developing plans & budgets, etc. will be highly valuable;
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (advanced practical knowledge particularly Excel and Access) and familiarity with statistical software like SPSS, STRAT will be highly desirable;
  • Willingness to travel extensively
