Position: Professor

Academic Qualifications:

1. PhD degree or an equivalent, in the relevant discipline from a well reputed university, with at least 2 (two) 1st Class/Division/ Grade A of which one 1st Class/Division/ Grade A will have to be in Bachelor’s or Master`s degree.
2. MPhil degree or an equivalent, in the relevant discipline from a well reputed university, with at least 2 (two) 1st Class/Division/ Grade A of which one 1st Class/Division/ Grade A will have to be in Bachelor’s or Master`s degree.
3. Bachelor’s (honors) degree of 4 (four) years and Master’s degree/3 (three) years Honors and Master’s degree in the relevant discipline from a well reputed university, with at least 3 (three) 1st Division/Class/ Grade A.

Experience Requirements:

1. For (1), minimum 12 years of teaching experience at the university or equivalent level of which at least 5 years has to be as Associate Professor.  The candidates must have at least 15 articles published in recognized journals of which 7 have to be published as Associate Professor. 
2. For (2), minimum 18 years of teaching experience at the university level of which at least 6 years as Associate Professor.  The candidates must have at least 15 articles published in recognized journals of which 7 have to be published as Associate Professor.
3. For (3), minimum 20 years of teaching experience at the university level of which at least 7 years as Associate Professor.  The candidates must have at least 15 articles published in recognized journals of which 7 have to be published as Associate Professor.

Position: Associate Professor

Academic Qualifications:

1. PhD degree or an equivalent, in the relevant discipline from a well reputed university, with at least 2 (two) 1st Class/Division/ Grade A of which one 1st Class/Division/ Grade A will have to be in Bachelor’s or Master`s degree.
2. MPhil degree or an equivalent, in the relevant discipline from a well reputed university, with at least 2 (two) 1st Class/Division/ Grade A of which one 1st Class/Division/ Grade A will have to be in Bachelor’s or Master`s degree.

2. For (2), minimum 8 years of teaching experience at the university level of which at least 4 years as Assistant Professor.  The candidates must have at least 5 articles published in recognized journals of which 3 have to be published as Assistant Professor.
3. For (3), minimum 10 years of teaching experience at the university level of which at least 4 years as Assistant Professor.  The candidates must have at least 6 articles published in recognized journals of which 4 have to be published as Assistant Professor.

Position: Assistant Professor

Academic Qualifications:

1. PhD degree or an equivalent, in the relevant discipline from a well reputed university, with at least 2 (two) 1st Class/Division/ Grade A of which one 1st Class/Division/ Grade A will have to be in Bachelor’s or Master`s degree.
2. MPhil degree or an equivalent, in the relevant discipline from a well reputed university, with at least 2 (two) 1st Class/Division/ Grade A of which one 1st Class/Division/ Grade A will have to be in Bachelor’s or Master`s degree.

Position: Lecturer

Academic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s (honors) degree of 4 (four) years and Master’s degree/3 (three) years Honors and Master’s degree in the relevant discipline from a well reputed university, with at least 3 (three) 1st Division/Class/ Grade A.
2. In the case of Engineering, candidates with Bachelor’s degree of 4 (four) years (honors) or Master’s degree, in the relevant discipline from a well reputed university, with at least 3 (three) 1st Division/Class/ Grade A.
   

Position: Secretary to the Board/ Secretary to the Chairman

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Secretary to the Board/ Secretary to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology shall be the safe custodian and caretaker of the Office of the Board of Trustees. S/he will keep the Chairman cognizant of the state of every affair related to the university and the Trust. S/he will carry out the regular routine jobs as assigned by the Chairman.  S/he shall be responsible for convening the meetings, fixing the items of the agenda of meetings, preparing the working papers for the meetings, taking the minutes, writing the proceedings of the meetings and communicating the proceedings/decisions of the meetings to all concerned. The Secretary shall interact and maintain liaison with all concerned. S/he shall oversee the accounts of the Trust and submit the annual return of the Trust. S/he shall assist the Chairman to implement the decisions of the BoT under the guidance of the Chairman. S/he will perform such other jobs in the interest of the Trust as and when instructed by the Chairman.

Academic Qualifications:

• Master’s degree with at least second class from any reputed public or private university. CS qualified candidate will get preference.  

Experience Requirements:

10 (ten) years of work experience of which 5 (five) years as a Secretary/ similar position in a Trust/ Foundation/ Corporate Organization. Preference will be given to an applicant having working experience in the Council Wing of a Board/ Trust or as a Secretary to any Chairman of a Board/Trust.

• Excellent communication and drafting skills in English and Bangla.
• Must have excellent computer skill.

Position: Accounts Officer (Accounts & Finance)

Job description/Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Voucher, Inventory, Cash budget, Cash book, Bank book etc.
• Carry out/Record financial transaction following the standard accounting practices.
• Conduct monthly/Periodical balance sheet reconciliation.
• Checking all kinds of expenditure, voucher, requisition, and cash/bank transactions.
• Ensure record keeping of all transactions and ensure accurate provisioning.
• Confirm Tax, Vat and other regulatory compliance of the organization for all kind of transactions.
• Maintain communication with audit firm.
• Maintain Daily & Monthly Statement.
• Following up budget and prepare budget variance report on capital expenditure item.
• Preparing Bank & Party reconciliation statement monthly basis.
• Posting Bank deposit receipt entry into the ERP & IEMS software.
• Preparing daily expenditure summary sheet and cash denomination sheet.
• Generate various finance and accounting related reports.
• Petty cash management, conduct collection & payment posting & reconcile on regular basis.
• Updating the Accounts in software on a regular basis.
• Well documentation of all accounting and financial papers.
• Any others job related to finance and accounts as assigned by management.

Academic Qualification, Experience and Other Requirements:

• Master's - Major in Accounting or Finance from any reputed University.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Accounts & Finance department of a reputed university/company.
• Knowledge of Computer based accounting & Tally software.
• Execute all accounting operations in compliance with regulations of IAS, BAS, GAAP, UGC, RJSC etc. authorities.
