Department – Project Operations, Job Title – Assistant Project Manager/Deputy Project Manager, Employment Type – Permanent
Job Responsibilities –
- Full time close construction work supervision of particular assigned project
- Checking and ensure the quality materials before use & control the wastage of materials and workmanship of each and every works
- To check level & alignment of all types of formwork. When concreting is in progress to observe the formwork to check & control movement
- To check reinforcement against drawing and must be carried out prior to the erection of any formwork and concreting
- To attend during concreting & to ensure that the workmanship is satisfactory
- To ensure the general discipline such as the curing, formwork, removing the formwork & protection of concrete and safe conditions are maintained
- To control, check and ensure the curing of concrete, brick works, plaster surface, tiles etc.
- Any other project related job to be assigned in written by the PM/PD
- Make sure materials (sand, brick, stone chips etc. are cleaned and or wash properly before use
- Always keep the construction sites clean. Make sure that materials (bricks, wood, pieces of rod etc.) are not scattered to & fro
- Time to time compare the actual work done against planned and take necessary action to maintain the work schedule of the project
- To check all types of bills like petty cash, conveyance, daily labor bills etc.
- Preparation of requisition with proper requirements of materials each work
- Prepare & authorize of requisition with proper checking of materials quality & quantity
- To record a detailed history of the construction works and & check the regular progress of works against the program
- Keeping proper record (measurement, area etc.) of all type of dismantling and or additional works properly
- To maintain of all type of site documents, reports, drawing and other papers in an organized way
- Time to time update the modification/ revision of drawings & keep proper record
Essential Qualifications –
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any reputed public/private university (graduates from BUET, CUET, KUET, RUET, AUST, IUT, SUST will receive preference)
Requisite Skills –
- Proficiency in using project management tools such as Microsoft Project 2013.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- Good stakeholder management
Work Experience –
- At least 6-8 Years of Work Experience in the construction of Residential and Commercial Buildings
