Southeast University is one of the reputed private universities which was established by Southeast University Trust. The university is approved and recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. The Trust is currently looking for a competent candidate in following position for immediate appointment:

Chief Coordinator

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To focus on working with the management to achieve the overall strategic, operational and administrative plans set out by the BOT.
  • To follow up the decisions and instructions given by the BOT for implementation and communicate updates and feedbacks to the Board time to time.
  • To work for the improvement of academic atmosphere for educational excellence and student success.
  • To initiate promotional activities to enhance image of Southeast University Trust and Southeast University.
  • To maintain close coordination with UGC and other govt. bodies related to Trust operation and University activities.
  • To arrange routine meetings of BOT and initiate additional meetings as and when required.
  • To ensure regulatory and other compliance.
  • To maximize operational efficiency of all employees of the trust.
  • To oversee strong workforce development.
  • To craft Mission, Vision, goal and objectives of Southeast University Trust & SEU according to the directives of BOT.
  • To review job description of all personnel working in the trust as and when required.
  • To review standard operating procedure (SOP) of activities of employees working for Southeast University Trust & SEU to make it more effective. Special attention must be given so that activities do not contradict the regulations set out by the UGC and Ministry of Education.
  • To propose new involvement to the Chairman, BOT for philanthropic contribution.

Pre-requisite to apply:

  • Minimum Master’s degree with honors from reputed university.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in any govt. or private organization where coordination, persuasion, administration were some of the important KPIs.
  • The incumbent must be a person of institutional adaptability, having abilities to run the day-to-day affairs of an institution.
