Conduct Therapy Sessions
- Provide individualized and group therapy sessions based on students' needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Collaborate with Special Education Teachers
- Review and follow the recommendations in teachers’ reports to align therapy sessions with educational goals.
- Provide guidance on classroom strategies to enhance student engagement and progress.
Parent Training and Guidance
- Educate and support parents in conducting therapy activities at home.
- Provide personalized home programs to reinforce therapy progress.
Documentation and Record-Keeping
- Prepare, maintain, and update all therapy-related documentation, including session notes and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with institutional and professional record-keeping standards.
Student Progress Evaluation and Reporting
- Conduct assessments and track students' improvements in therapy.
- Submit detailed evaluation reports every six (6) months for each student.
Interdisciplinary Coordination
- Work collaboratively with teachers, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.
Professional Development
- Stay updated with the latest research, therapy techniques, and best practices in special needs therapy.
Maintain a Safe and Supportive Environment
- Ensure therapy rooms and materials are organized and conducive to effective learning and intervention.
- Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters student growth and confidence.
