Job Title: Country Sales Manager/ Sales Manager (Shipping Industry of NVOCC)

Over the past decades the transport and cargo shipping industry has seen enormous growth in the Asian, European, Middle Eastern, African and Far Eastern regions. We are currently having operation in 50 countries in the globe. We operating as Licensed Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) in Bangladesh.
Job Context
We are searching skilled sales manager/assistant manager, who is energetic, highly motivated, well-organized, trustworthy, understands the significance of teamwork, and has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time booking management of all assigned customers
- Handle customer HQ and customer complaints and inquiries for smooth service.
- Develop relationships with customers and prospective customers to generate new business
- Regularly visiting potential customers’ offices, then use cold calling to build a customer base for your freight forwarding business opportunities.
- Increase sales by designing and implementing targeted market strategies.
- Ensure that the developed sales strategies, objectives, goals, and revenue generation targets are carried out.
- Continue consistent communication with customers, internal departments, and overseas offices.
- Always keep an eye on the trends and conditions in the international freight forwarding market.
- Representing our company to customers, the general public, the government, and other outside sources in a formal way. The information about the company can be exchanged over the phone or via e-mail.
- Any other task assigned by the management needs to be Complete.
- Ability to Lead a team, and train them to conduct enormous sales.
- As Team Leader, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall Management and Implementation of the Project.
- Ensure that all sales and marketing activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Maintain specific software or database programs to run the sale process appropriately.
- Collaborate with team members to attain ongoing targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and recruit top sales talent
- Mentor employees to help them achieve individual & team objectives

Graduate / Post-Graduate in any discipline from a Reputed University.

- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NVOCC and Shipping Line, freight forwarding.
Additional Requirements
- Experience from an NVOCC background is preferred, MLO or freight forwarder experience may also apply.
- Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of inside and outside sales techniques and procedures, and can demonstrate the ability for business development, client maintenance, and procurement of new accounts.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and organization skills
- Must enjoy a fast-paced, multi-tasking, customer service-minded environment.
- Knowledge of MS Office is a must.
