Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Sandhani Life Insurance Company Limited (SLIC), a leading publicly listed life insurance company in the country, is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to efficiently supervise and control the strategic and internal financial affairs of the company. The CFO is a senior management position in the company, who will report to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of the company.

Required Qualifications:
The candidate should have

  • Minimum 10 years’ working experience as CFO in any life insurance company.
  • Experience in BESC, IDRA, and other regulatory reporting.
  • Working Knowledge in tax/VAT.
  • A Master’s degree in Business discipline from any reputed university. Having a professional degree like FCA, FCMA shall be given preference.
  • Working knowledge in any Insurance Software.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Developing tax and financial strategies.
  • Managing the overall budgeting process.
  • Working with multiple departments such as accounting, human resources, underwriting, treasury, tax and legal and working as a business partner of the CEO.
  • Maintaining statutory reporting to IDRA, BSEC, RJSC and other government authorities.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on potential risks and mitigating measures, and overall company’s financial status to the executive board.
  • Ensuring compliance with regard to personal and corporate tax regulations.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance with regard to Insurance Act, BSEC Act, Company Act, Income Tax and VAT Ordinances etc.
