Senior Manager Quality Assurance

Candidate should be Textile/Apparel graduate with about 20 years of relevant work experience in quality assurance of apparel in a manufacturing/buying organization. Candidate should have worked in a managerial capacity in a leading European Liaison office of an upmarket retailer/brand for at least 7 years handling quality assurance in excess of USD 200mn turnover and a team size of at least 20-25 members.

Candidate should have sound technical knowledge and should be able to oversee and guide a technical team to improve product quality and performance parameters. Understanding of European restricted substances and chemical safety requirements is essential.

Candidate should have proven leadership experience in developing team members and guiding factories in improving quality standards. A proven track record in terms of key performance indicators of customer claim/cancellation rate is a must and candidate should be able to work on improving quality from the perspective of end-consumer requirements.

Computer proficiency and effective communication skill in English is essential.
