Rural Reconstruction Foundation (RRF) is a National level Non-Governmental voluntary Development Organization. Which is working since 1982 for the underprivileged community in many development segments. Job Context:

The position will ensure supervised project area as per requirement. Maintained the working side and supervised the contractor, labor.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the activities.
  • Facilitate and organize different community meeting, training and workshop in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure the monthly reporting requirement to head office.
  • Identify and addressing staff capacity building opportunities.
  • Work with the team and build their capacity through coaching, mentoring and regular meetings in line of quality assurance.
  • Assess the performance of the staff and take appropriate measures accordingly
  •  Any other assignments given by the authority.
  • Understanding of Basic Civil functions e.g., civil working drawing, Site preparation, Ground leveling, soil testing, form work, concrete foundation, building construction, special knowledge about finishing work and handling, implementing large construction projects etc.
  • Should have sufficient reference of skilled contractors of various items works.
  • Candidate should have ability to select contractors independently as per organizations Guideline.
  • Should have proper knowledge of Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost minimization, Optimal use of labor and foreman, & making working schedule.
  • Managing site supervisor and labors / contractors as per company Guideline
  • Checking received materials
  • Should have proper knowledge of Safety issues.
  • Should have sound knowledge of Building codes.
  • Shall have Good knowledge about Interior & decoration or furniture related Works.
  • Shall have good knowledge to read layout plan, estimation & man power handling.

Employment Status:

  • Contractual (Project period - from January 2024 to April 2026)

Educational Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor in Civil Engineering.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 03 years of working experience in the development sector.
  • Clear understanding on Safe water, Sanitation and Hygiene program and operation.
  • Strong understanding of WASH, social capital, value chain, business and natural resources management.

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 45 years.
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply.
  • Excellent knowledge and use of the internet, Microsoft packages and other skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of WASH project management with at least 3 years of experience in NGOs/development sector.
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills.
  • Excellent communication cooperation and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizing skills on training, workshop and other forum.
  • Good facilitation and anchoring skill, ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to develop plan and priorities work according to deadlines; and manage budgets and projects.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop creative approaches and solutions to complex problems.
  • Previous experience of managing donor supported projects and microcredit-based projects will be an advantage.
  • Highly motivated, participate in meetings even during weekends as and when necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure to meet the deadline.
