Rupantar is now inviting applications from suitable experienced and interested candidate to work coastal areas for filling up the following job vacancies to work in a governance in IWRM & SWM sector at climate change focused area supported by WaterAid Bangladesh dealing with IWRM and SWM of public service based in Satkhira District.
Project Title: GO4IMPact
Project Duration: 1st January, 2024 to 30th June, 2027
Job Duration: As it is a need-based position, so currently the duration of this position is until 31st December,2026 but it might require extended upon donor fund availability and their consent.

Salary: An amount of 40,000/- per month with yearly increment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Masters in Statistics, Social Sciences, Environmental Science, Disaster Management, Climate Science, Geography and Environment, Economics or equivalent with combination of qualifications and practical experience in relevant field.
- At least 02-03 years’ relevant working experience in any National/International NGO;
- Preference will be given to candidates having prior working experience in DRR and Climate Justice project
- Good community mobilizing, consultation and session facilitation skills
- Coordination and maintain liaison with communities, civil society groups and local stakeholders including Government
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor/management.
Core competences:
- Familiar with bio-physical and socio-economic condition of Satkhira or similar district
- Ability to work in a team with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize activities to act and decide promptly.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point); SPSS and/or similar data management and analytical software packages/tools
- Good verbal and written communication skills in local language, English and Bengali;
- Pro-active and participatory decision-making and problem-solving;
- Ability to communicate with people from different cultures and backgrounds;
- Good understanding on issues related to gender equity and protection
Responsibilities:
- Design and apply MEL plan, tools/methodology and indictor tracking mechanism for the WaterAid GO4IMPact project in consultation with MEL Coordinator and the Project Manager and roll out the plan
- Ensure incorporation of environmental and climate issues are incorporated in the monitoring tools, and prepare the tools in a way to track and monitor the project through the lens of IWRM & SWM of Public service-based Plan as per the donor and GoB rules and policies
- Guide the project staff to ensure implementation of the MEL system through regular inputs in tools/ data collection platform and follow up with project staff
- Collect and validate field data on a regular basis for donor and other reporting purpose
- Regular monitoring and mentoring to ensure the achievement of desired outcome in effective and efficient way
- Write different reports and design tools/methodology for collecting monitoring data on regular basis
- Set up of an efficient Complaint Feedback and Response Mechanism (CFRM), Collect feedback and complaint forms from field and enter into Feedback and Complaint Database (weekly).
