Job Context

Deputy Manager - HR Operations would report to the Head of HR of the RSC and would be based in the RSC office in Dhaka.

The role would be responsible for managing employee relations, recruitment process execution, KPI based performance management process, compensation and benefits administration, internal communications, employee engagement and well-being, grievance handling as well as employee related statutory compliances in a timely manner. The overall objective of the role would be to ensure that employees interests are managed and protected within the defined guidelines, policies, and processes of the RSC.

Outline of Job Responsibilities:

The role of the Deputy Human Resources Manager includes but is not limited to:

  • Staff Recruitment Process review and implement best practices in conjunction with the Head of HR to meet the immediate and future staffing requirements of the organization.
  •  Develop good Employee Relations practices to support the HR function and the Managers and continue to develop open communication processes with the Departmental Head and with employees.
  • Support KPI based Performance Management process development for staff, and identify the requirements needed to ensure the organization can deliver a high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
  • Review in conjunction with the HR Head of the Standard Operating Procedures for the efficient and effective administration of the Human Resources Department.
  • Monitor and manage good Communication protocols for dealing with department heads and Staff to ensure the information delivered is relevant, appropriate, and timely, and ensure they are in line with The RSC’s policies and procedures.
  • Manage the HRIS to meet the needs of the Organization.
  • Attend, as required, working groups and committees of the organization as required.
  • Represent The RSC at meetings if required with internal groups that are necessary for the proper discharge of the post.
  • Ensure awareness of compensation and benefits structure as applicable to all employees
  • Ensure fair and transparent process for handling of all grievances of employees.
  • Facilitate and coordinate swift closure and action around employee grievances.

MIS, Reporting and Compliances

  • Create and maintain dashboard related to all employee related initiatives, programs, grievances, and action taken.
  • Discuss with HR Head and MD monthly and also with HOD’s as necessary to keep them informed.
  • Ensure all HR compliances from an employee and statutory perspective are completed and records are maintained/ updated regularly.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s in human resources /another department.
  • PGD in HRM will be given preference.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 8-10 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

Key Skills:

  • Proven working experience as an HR Operation professional in a challenging environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh labour law/acts, compensation laws, and employee engagement/ relations related practices, KPI Based Performance Management Process.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company,
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, and HR software,
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure, Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to multitask, Team leading ability
  • Visionary mindset.

Job Location: Dhaka.
