Resource Development Foundation (RDF) is one of the largest National Development Organizations (NGO) in Bangladesh. RDF is going to implement a 4 (Four) years “Combatting Early Marriage in Bangladesh (CEMB)” project funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC).  The CEMB project will be implemented in all four Upazilas of Jhalakati District in partnership with Plan International Bangladesh. The Technical Coordinator GEE will be responsible for coordinating and implementing economic empowerment related activities at the district level. S/he will provide technical support to the Field Facilitators GEE for selecting targeted households and implementing capacity development activities for beneficiaries taking apprenticeship, wage and self-employment pathways. S/he will coordinate with the Upazila Coordinators and the Technical Specialist GEE in Plan’s Barisal Divisional Office.

Major Deliverables:

  • Develops the plans for household selection as per the approved criteria and rolls it out.
  • Trains and directly supervises the Field Facilitators for developing family and business development plans for the beneficiaries.
  • Leads the market scans in the assigned geographical areas
  • Ensures assets transfer as per the approved list of beneficiaries
  • Monitors the growth of the business interventions and wages and self-employment.
  • Provides periodical report to the supervisors and identifies and violation or fraudulent activities in the field.
  • Reports to the project’s Team Manager and based in Jhalakati

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator will be responsible for executing the M&E framework and tools to monitor the project’s result chain.  The incumbent will also be responsible for validating monitoring data, preparing periodical narrative and formative reports and providing supports to the central M&E team in Plan International Bangladesh during annual outcome monitoring.

Major Deliverables:

  • Ensures effective and quality implementation M&E system and tools, validates data, captures learning and reports M&E findings.
  • Leads data collection process, verification, spot checking, analysis, reporting and sharing of critical findings.
  • Works with team members for tracking results.
  • Supports the implementation of Programme Quality Policy and work with others to facilitate continual learning.

The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the dissemination of key messages related to the 3 outcome areas.  S/he will ensure documentation of project interventions through written and audio-visual materials; participate in the development and publication of a wide range of writings that cover print and electronic media; collect and maintain information (case studies) and photographs of CEMB activities and undertake daily media monitoring. S/he will also ensure that CEMB project branding complies with Plan’s corporate and GAC defined standards in the operations and implementation of the program’s communication materials.

Major Deliverables:

  • Contributes to the development of key messages related to CEMB outcomes.
  • Identifies communication topics and stories in consultation with component leads in the project team and Plan’s project team.
  • Acquires and maintains information and photographs on activities in District, Upazila and Unions to support project documentation, reporting and presentations to key stakeholders
  • Monitors selected local and regional media for news on events, projects, research and publications relevant to CEMB’s work and highlight the same on the website.
  • Contributes to thematic and topical pieces in Bangla for newsletter.
  • Support the production of IEC materials in Bangla and English.
  • Assists CEMB staff with writing blogs in Bangla and English
  • Provides need-based communication support to field staff, District Administration and Plan’s Country and Divisional Offices.
  • Reports to the project’s Team Manager and based in Jhalakati
