Major Deliverables:

  • Delivers project interventions for achieving annual objectives and targets for the Pathoghta and Bamna Upazila.

  • Supervises and provides supports to the technical officers of Patharghata and Bamna Upazilas in developing and implementing their plants.

Technical Officer- SOYEE will be responsible for coordinating and implementing economic empowerment related activities at the Pathorgata and Bamna Upazila level. S/he will provide technical support to the Field Facilitator-SOYEE for selecting targeted households and implementing capacity development activities for beneficiaries taking apprenticeship, wage and self-employment pathways. S/he will coordinate with the Project Lead/ Project Coordinator.

Major Deliverables:

  • Develops the plans for household selection as per the approved criteria and rolls it out.
  • Trains and directly supervises the Field Facilitators SOYEE for developing family and business development plans for the beneficiaries.
  • Leads the market scans in the assigned geographical areas
  • Ensures assets transfer as per the approved list of beneficiaries
  • Monitors the growth of the business interventions and wages and self-employment.
  • Provides periodical report to the supervisors and identifies and violation or fraudulent activities in the field.
  • Reports to the Project Coordinator.

MERL Officer

MERL Officer will be responsible for executing the MERL framework and tools to monitor the project’s result chain.  The incumbent will also be responsible for validating monitoring data, preparing periodical narrative and formative reports and providing supports to the central MERL team in Plan International Bangladesh during annual outcome monitoring.

Major Deliverables:

  • Ensures effective and quality implementation MERL system and tools, validates data, captures learning and reports MERL findings.
  • Leads data collection process, verification, spot checking, analysis, reporting and sharing of critical findings.
  • Works with team members for tracking results.
  • Supports the implementation of Programmed Quality Policy and work with others to facilitate continual learning.
  • Reports to the Project Coordinator.
