Resource Development Foundation (RDF) is one of the largest nationwide development organizations (NGO) in Bangladesh. By leveraging both local and national strategies, RDF ensures that its programs are effective, scalable, and sustainable, thereby fostering resilience and self-sufficiency in the communities it serves. The organization is going to implement a project named ‘Bridging the Gap: Locally-led and Comprehensive Support to End Child Marriage in Barishal’ from November 2024 to October 2026 funded by USAID.  This project will be implemented in 03 (Three) Upazila (Barisal Sadar, Babugang, and Gournadi) under the Barisal District in partnership with USAID Bangladesh America Maitree Project (BAMA). To implement the project, RDF invites applications from the competent and qualified persons for the following positions:

Name of Position: Monitoring Coordinator

Academic Qualification:

  • Masters in statistics, Anthropology, Economics, Social Science, Development Studies, or any other relevant discipline from any reputed university.
  • (Must have prior project management experience with national and International NGOs. USAID-funded project experience will be an added advantage)

Experience

  • Minimum 03 years’ experience in relevant field.
  • Experience in working with children and youth, livelihoods, Gender-based violence, Prevention of Child Marriage interventions, Protection, and SRHR.

Salary (Monthly): 65,000/-

Job Responsibility:
The Monitoring Coordinator will be responsible for developing monitoring frameworks and performance metrics, implementing monitoring activities, collecting and analyzing data, preparing and delivering progress reports to the project coordinator, identifying issues, implementing corrective actions, managing risk, providing feedback for project improvement and support planning efforts, rain staff and enhance team capabilities in monitoring. Monitoring Coordinator has to ensure that, the project stays on track, meets its goals, and delivers the intended outcomes. The Monitoring Coordinator will ensure the quality implementation of the project, donor reporting, and documentation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developed a quality monitoring framework as per the project logic model.
  • Developed a strategy to establish a monitoring system in the project area.
  • Analyze monitoring data and reports and take necessary measures to minimize the gaps.
  • Capacity building of the staff to apply the monitoring system.
  • Monitoring checklist and regular follow-up on the progress & accordingly guide the field staff.
  • Collect information from field-level activities and documentation of success stories.
  • Developed MIS system and data bank to manage data.
  • Verifying the field-level data for preparing progress reports.
  • Preparing periodical narrative and formative report in time.
  • Monitor the PRA process, data collection, and verification.
  • Share findings reports to the concerned authority.
  • Regular basis field monitoring to identify gaps or success of the project.
  • Preparing and sharing case studies and success reports at project activities.
  • Field level report verified through field visit.
  • Support staff to collect valid data.
  • Developed different monitoring tools for field-level staff.
  • Support the process of baseline, midline, and end-line surveys.
  •  Support the central monitoring team during annual outcome monitoring.
  • Monitoring the project activities (like beneficiary selection, group formation different types of training, asset transfer, etc.) at the field level.
  • Provide support for ensuring proper monitoring during implementation of the project.
  • Report to the Project Manager.
