The Upazila Coordinator will be responsible for implementing project interventions at the community and Upazila levels. S/he is responsible for monitoring program quality and documentation for the assigned Upazila (Sub-district). S/he will advocate for strengthening the community based child protection through networking and collaboration with relevant civil society organizations, duty bearers and other institutions at the Upazila and District levels. Major Deliverables:
- Delivers project interventions for achieving annual objectives and targets for the assigned Upazila.
- Monitors program implementation in Unions for achieving results.
- Supervises and provides supports to the Union Coordinators Social Empowerment of the assigned Upazila for developing their plans and rolling them out.
- Develops/nurtures protection network at Upazila level for resource mobilization.
- Ensures compliance with the Gender and Safeguarding policies in implementing the project; works as the Child Protection Focal point for keeping children safe during project implementation.
- Reports to the project Team Manager and based in assigned Upazila.
