Consultancy for conducting an Endline Evaluation on “Increasing Income of Entrepreneurs through Production and Marketing of Safe Edible Mustard Oil” financed by PKSF under RMTP Project.

About the organization 
Proyas ManobikUnnayan Society is a local non-government organization in ChapaiNawabganj. The organization has been rendering its services continuously for the socio-eco- nomic development, increasing community awareness and self- dependence with the support from different government and non-government organizations.

Proyas ManobikUnnayan Society (PMUS) developed as a national non-government voluntary organization in 1988, with a devoted commitment for economic and social progress of the marginalized group’s like- deprived women, children, and the disabled. PMUS has evolved significantly be extending its reach and impact across 73 branches covering 2292 villages, 175 unions, and 26 upazilas with 7 districts. With a team of 1096 experienced and dedicated staff members. PMUS involved at least 15% of youth and 35% of women in designing any projects. PMUS has established a robust network for collaborative action among NGO’s, donor agencies, development partners, government institution, as well as grassroots organizations and professional groups. Beyond its core microfinance program, PMUS has fronted numerous non- financial initiatives by addressing critical needs in education, healthcare, sanitation, and agriculture. These initiative provide essential services such as education for underprivileged children, primary healthcare for rural communities, health awareness campaigns. Moreover, PMUS offers support in the form of agricultural machinery, vermicomposting, extension services, training, and market linkage to empower smallholder farmers and potential entrepreneurs.

About the Project
The project titled “Increasing Income of Entrepreneurs through Production and Marketing of Safe Edible Mustard Oil Value chain sub-project” jointly financed by Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), has been implemented in Chapainawabganj SadarUpazila of Chapainawabganj district by the organization “Proyas ManobikUnnayan Society (PMUS)”. The project has been working to increase income, ensure food security and improve family nutrition of marginal and small farmers and backward and forward market entrepreneurs. The project is creating new safe products and creating employment, sustainable sectors through local services of the product, environment, safe and market measures and increasing women’s participation in business.
