Purpose of the Role:
PROTTYASHI is a volunteer social development organization established in February, 1983. The organization is currently looking for an Internal Audit Officer. The Internal Audit Officer will be the person of the branch auditing, reporting and taking lead to control all resources under the guidance of Manager (Audit).
Highlights of Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a full audit of an organization/Branch; including accessing risk and taking the necessary risk management steps to forestall fraud.
- Ensure control management regarding financial reliability and compliance by making sure that directions and regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Monitor actions taken by management in response to audit reviews, ensuring that all agreed audit actions and recommendations are accurate and timely implemented including Global Assurance findings.
- Work closely with internal or visiting auditors and support their audit process.
- Ensure that audits are performed with due professional care and there are credible audit observations, conclusions and recommendations.
- Obtain, analyse, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, and data
- Act objectively by giving independent advice in order to ensure legality and achieve organizational goals.
- Maintain and improve on existing open communication with the management.
- Assist to document the audit process and prepares audit findings. Also, prepare and present reports that clearly reflect the audit results.
- Assist to do a follow-up on the audit assignments giving to other auditors by Prottyashi
- Strive to continuously develop knowledge in the sector regarding rules, regulations, best practices, techniques and performance standards.
- Perform branch audits to ensure compliance with branch and head office rules and regulations.
- Keep Supervisor informed of any initiative or difficulties relating to the job's responsibilities.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Director.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance
- Evidence of Progress in Professional Qualification will be an added advantage
- At least 3 years of total work experience with minimum three 2-3 years of experience, especially in Microfinance organization.
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and ensure deliverables on time
- Experience can be relaxed for highly deserving candidate
- Age at most 45 years
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Certificate on the relevant expertise will be an added advantage.
- Have advanced skills in computer applications like Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and accounting software.
- Possess excellent communication skill.
- Knowledge of legal and financial systems
- Possess strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations

- Monthly Gross Salary provision period 30,000 BDT After 3month provision periods will be 38,683 BDT.
- The salaries of more experience candidates are negotiable.
- Contributory Provident fund (CPF), Gratuity, 2 Festival Bonus, Boishaki Bonus, Staff Wale fare Fund, Lunch & Dinner allowance, Accommodation & Regular traveling and communication bill.
