Scope Study : Potential of the Municipality in Promoting Renewable Energy at the Local Level

Primary Guidelines

A. Participatory Research & Action Network- PRAAN requests proposals from qualified individual consultant/consultancy firms to conduct a Scope Study on the Potential of the Municipality in Promoting Renewable Energy at the Local Level.  Interested entities are requested to submit their detailed proposal following the below requirements:

  1.   Company/Individual profile, highlighting relevant experience and expertise.
  2. The Proposed methodology includes data collection methods, analytical approaches, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
  3. Work plan outlining the tasks, activities, and timeline for completing the scope study.
  4. Team composition, including the qualifications and roles of key personnel involved in the study.
  5. Budget breakdown, including detailed cost estimates for each activity and deliverable.
  6. Relevant samples of previous work, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-quality reports and presentations.

B. Invoicing will occur upon completion and approval of the deliverables. D.

C. PRAAN is not liable for any expenditure incurred by responding individual consultant/firm prior to issuance of an executed contract with PRAAN.

D. Submissions must be typed and submitted only by email here pranbd@gmail.com and must include all the requirement mentioned in the Primary Guidelines A. Unless agreed upon with PRAAN no changes or corrections to a response will be allowed after the deadline.

E. The ideal candidate must have At least 10 years continuous professional experience in designing research framework, analytical paper development, conducting research and evaluation framework. A Masters in relevant field with substantial experience in Governance, Power Sector, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Science is required. And an ideal candidate must have cultural sensitivity and respect for others’ opinions.

F. This position offers a flexible office hour and location. The Fellow can work from anywhere in Bangladesh.
