Plan International has been operating in Bangladesh since 1994, helping children access their rights to health, education, economic security and protection. Currently, under Country Strategy (CS) V (2020-2030) Plan International Bangladesh is implementing programmes in thematic areas: health, education, child protection, water and sanitation, youth engagement and employment, and disaster risk management and climate change.

The Integrated Community Development Project (ICDP) is a project that has been implemented in Hatibandha, Lalmonirhat District in Bangladesh. The second phase of this project, i.e. ICDP-II (2018-2020), is being implemented in the char areas of Sindurna Union in Hatibandha. This project is addressing the challenging situation of girls and women in this union by focusing on improving maternal, newborn and child health outcomes, improving community disaster resilience, preventing child marriage and improving school environments. The project is implementing specific interventions focused on improving child health, improving disaster resilience , reduction of child marriage through children and youth advocacy, capacity building of community-based organizations (CBOs), supporting life skills training for girls and raising awareness on pre-natal and post-natal care amongst community members.

Submission of Proposal

Interested consultant/consulting firms are requested to submit a technical and a financial proposal through email at Planbd.consultant.hiring@plan-international.org with a cover letter addressing the Administrative Coordinator of Administration, Plan International Bangladesh. The deadline of proposal submission is the 27th September 2020.
