Hiring consultant for “Conducting Refreshers Training on Syndromic Case Management of Reproductive Tract Infections/ Sexually Transmitted infections for SACMO, FWV, CHCP and CSBA of Born On Time Project Area

Founded over 80 years ago, Plan International is one of the oldest and largest children's development organisations in the world. Plan International is independent, with no religious, political or governmental affiliations, and with a vision of a world in which all children realize their full potential, in societies that respect people's rights and dignity. Plan International works in fifty-two developing countries across Africa, Asia and the South America, and twenty-one countries raise funds to support these efforts. Plan International's stated Global Strategic Goal is to reach as many children as possible, particularly those who are excluded or marginalised, with high-quality programs that deliver long-lasting benefits. Children are at the heart of everything we do.

Plan International has been operating in Bangladesh since 1994, helping children access their rights to health, education, economic security and protection. Currently, under Country Strategy IV Plan International Bangladesh is implementing programmes in six thematic areas: health, education, child protection, WASH, youth engagement and employment, and disaster risk management and climate change.

In that continuation, Plan International Bangladesh has launch Born On Time: A Public-Private Partnership for the Prevention of Preterm Births (Born On Time or BOT) is a five-year, CAD $30 million project that aims to reduce the number of preterm births in targeted communities in Mali, Ethiopia and Bangladesh. Now in its fourth year, the BOT consortium is implementing a series of interventions that address key risk factors for preterm births that are associated with lifestyle, infections, nutrition and contraception (LINC). At the same time, Union Health & Family Welfare Centers and other community level facilities are providing 24/7 delivery services. To track record and performance, these health facilities are keeping registers of different types (including delivery registers), which are provided by the government and NGOs. A delivery register assessment of these UH&FWCs is needed to be carried out to assess the data tracking on pre-term birth and other indicators/records. Based on key findings, the study will provide necessary recommendations to guide the project in future. To conduct the study, a consultant/consulting firm will be engaged on behalf of Plan International Bangladesh as per this Terms of Reference (TOR).
