The role
As a Project Manager, you will lead the overall management and coordination of the project ensuring technical support to the project staff at both Plan International and implementing partner level. You will ensure that the achievement of project deliverables are in line with the project objectives and strategic direction. The project manager needs to maintain compliance, program quality standards, administrative and financial requirements of Plan International and donor. You are required to work on promoting collaborative relationships, networking, and advocating project approaches of urban resilience to concerned authority, ministries, and departments of government (e.g. City Corporation, MoDMR, DDM, FSCD, MoH, Hospitals, DGHS, MoPME, MoE, DPE, DSHE etc.) and like-minded organizations. The jobholder will maintain close coordination/functional relationship with Bangladesh Country Office (BCO) Disaster Risk Management (DRM) team, Gender and Inclusion Advisor, as well as respective colleague of Health, Protection and Education team at BCO level to have technical guidance - so that inclusive programme will be embedded in the implementing project interventions in a gender transformative way.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for a ‘to go’ and a competent leader with Masters’ degree with at least 5 years’ experience of project management including planning and scheduling, process design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation.
