Job summary
Plan International Bangladesh runs a sponsorship business management team, which deals with regular communications between sponsor and sponsored children and also updates the progress of the children and their family members in terms of realization of child rights and socio-economic development on a regular basis.
The Electronic Data Processor cum Translator is an outsourced position, i.e. s/he will not be a Plan International Bangladesh staff, who works under a service contract and delivers the followings:
- Regular data entries for updating the corporate system as and when data sets are available from the field.
- Photo renaming and process in the system.
- Translations of routine communications between sponsor and sponsored children.
- Uploading communication items and producing reports from the system as and when required.
- Expected to work at least 18-22 working days (Sunday to Thursday) per month.
- Data availability in server from the corporate system.
- Synchronize sponsored children data for the corporate system.
- Provide support to the sponsorship field colleagues as and when required.
Interested applicants should have minimum HSC/O-Level education and the ability to translate letters (Bangla to English and English to Bangla) and must have a reasonable typing speed in both Bangla and English. Basic knowledge of Excel and MS office is also required.
Selected applicants will be provided with on-the-job training and onsite supportive supervision for acquiring the efficiency required for this service.
The estimated monthly earning would be a package between Tk.15000 - 30000 approximately depending on the count of the unit of works done.
