The role In order to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of multi-sectoral programmes of Plan International Bangladesh’s (PIB), strong coordination is required at the senior management level between and across the different business units responsible for programme management and implementation, technical assistance, business development, programme quality, learning & knowledge management, operations and systems, human resources and organizational development, influencing, campaign and advocacy. This position will serve as the focal point for the Country Management Team, coordinating and communicating decisions and actions that require effective and timely coordination between and across the different business units of PIB. This role will plan and prepare for CMT meetings (weekly, monthly and adhoc), prepare minutes, and actively track as well as follow up on decisions requiring coordinated actions across the business units. This role will prepare talking points/speech, different documents, and knowledge products required for external representation of the management team in coordination with communication and programme teams. This role also ensure communication with different stakeholders including high level government officials, donors, media, partners, etc. as and when required for the Country Management Team. What we’re looking for We need a dynamic individual who attained Master’s degree and have minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in INGDO/Development sector. The person needs to adopt an appropriate communication style when communicating with the whole range of callers over telephone, visitors, colleagues, PUs, and others; exhibits active listening and effective response over telephone; ability to clearly and convincingly express thoughts and ideas in written and verbal form.
