The Project:

In collaboration with Plan International Norway, Plan International Bangladesh is going to start a project with the financial support of Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) Telethon that aims to reduce the Child Early and Forced Marriage-CEFM in Bangladesh, and the target district is Kurigram in particular. The integrated project will work in the areas of youth governance, sexual reproductive health and rights, CEFM system strengthening & monitoring and girls’ economic empowerment that will ultimately contribute to combating early and forced marriage. Through this project, the girls and young women along with the boys and young men will be empowered to drive a systemic change for achieving gender equality and promoting an enabling environment for youth especially for girls and young women to build their future aspirations and make decisions. The project will be implemented from January 2022 to December 2025.

The Role:

This position holder will work closely with the Head of MERL to ensuring effective and quality implementation of developed M&E system and tools, validating data, capturing learning and reporting M&E findings for NRK Telethon and other projects in working locations. The M&E Specialist will develop methods to track outputs and assess outcomes and report about these periodically to programme team and management. This position holder will be responsible for developing tools for data quality assurance and rolling out to ensure quality data for reporting to donors and GH for 100 million reasons. The M&E Specialist will conduct process monitoring regularly at project level to ensure interventions are delivered as per agreed standard and share the monitoring findings with concerned staff members in programme. Capacity building of Plan and Partner staff in programme monitoring will be one of the key responsibilities.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual with a Postgraduate Degree preferably in Population Sciences/Economics/Statistics or any other relevant subject from a reputed University. The ideal candidate should have minimum three years of experience in design, planning, monitoring, evaluation and research in international development organisation with experience of implementing Annual Outcome Monitoring and evaluation of projects. Alongside experience of using M&E system for programme monitoring is preferred. Skill in analysing data with statistical software like SPSS, STATA is a must.

Monthly consolidated salary range for this role is Tk. 90,000.00 to Tk. 120,000.00 (may vary based on experience) along with other benefits other benefits i.e. Life Insurance, Hospitalization Insurance coverage along with Out Patient Treatment Benefit.
