Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

Plan International Bangladesh is looking for M&E Specialist who will develop methods to track outputs and assess outcomes and report about these periodically to programme team and management. The M&E Specialist will conduct process monitoring regularly to ensure interventions are delivered as per agreed standard and share the monitoring findings with concerned staff members in programme. Capacity building of Plan and Partner staff in programme monitoring will be one of the key responsibilities.

The role

Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will be responsible to design and lead the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities and ensure the result-based management in Program and project areas as per defined in the country strategy. The position holder will develop theory of change (TOC), result framework and indicators to measure success in respective project from regular monitoring and evaluation activities. In line with P&IQP s/he will track output delivery and assess outcomes to understand project progress towards achieving objectives, hold regular process monitoring, compile information and produce quarterly report for programme team and country management team to take decisions. Data quality assurance is one of the key responsibilities of this position holder. The M&E Specialist will also provide effort for capacity building of staff at Plan and partner organisation to enhance skill in programme monitoring.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a passionate team member with minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field specializing in developing and updating Theory of Change (TOC), result framework, log frame at programme level. Also in depth knowledge/experience of indicators to measure success for strategic objectives; ability to develop, communicate to implement M&E Plan for country programmes is essential. Candidates with post-graduation degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Economics, Development Studies and Statistics, or other relevant field are highly encouraged to apply.

Salary Package:

Salary range is BDT 1,29,040 to BDT 1,61,300 (Monthly CTC)  along with other benefits i.e., Life insurance, Hospitalization benefit, Festival Bonus, Hospitalization benefit for spouse and children, contributory provident fund, group insurance and yearly medical check-up for employee.
