The role

The Gender & Inclusion Advisor will be the technical expert to all ongoing projects under the Management & Implementation Team. The post holder will ensure the Plan Internationals gender transformative and inclusive approach is imbedded in all existing and new projects and programmes, and that we generate and use learning. S/he will be responsible identifying and implementing training packages for partners, and in collaboration and coordination with the Child Protection & Gender Justice Advisor, the post hold will support and train the internal Gender & Inclusion Resource Team, and lead the development and agreed deliverables of the annual G&I action plan.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for dynamic personality with excellent understanding of gender issues in development and humanitarian programming, including key challenges and approaches to mainstreaming gender into program design and management. Minimum 5 years of experience in gender field along with masters degree in relevant field is required. The person needs to have the ability to develop program design documents – including strong appreciation of theories of change (logic models, log-frames), contextual analyses (e.g. power, gender, and conflict), budgets, MEAL plans.
