Accounts officer

Plan International Bangladesh is looking for an accounts officer to provide support to programme and operation unit and PNGO’s, in relation to efficiently processes payment, thus in a way contribute to efficient implementation of Plan International Bangladesh and donor’s policies and procedures that support to achieve the related objectives/indicators of the Country Strategic Plan.

 The role and scope

Reporting to the Finance Manager-Treasury & Audit support, Accounts Officer is responsible to process the payment of suppliers, partner organizations and Union Parishad fund disbursement, consultants, travel bill of Plan staff; process salary payment of employees of divisional office, disburse cash fund and advances to staff members for smooth implementation of program. Other than this s/he maintains close coordination with admin and treasury staff members of Divisional Offices, project and field offices.

 

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a potential team member who is ffamiliar with local and corporate financial law and regulations. Applicant needs to have bachelor degree in commerce or business with 1 to 2 years of working experience preferably in NGO/INGO.

A good command in MS applications, SAP software & knowledge in general accounting procedures & principles are highly recommended. The person is expected to behave consistently in approach to work & support program teams, develop mutual trusting relationship with complex partnership that have excellent business outcomes. In addition to that willingness to work for and on behalf of the organization at times of disaster within Plan working areas is required.

Salary Package: BDT.  49,600 – 62,000 (Monthly CTC) along with other benefits i.e., Life insurance, and hospitalization benefit.
