Plan International Bangladesh is looking for ECD Specialist who will be responsible to contribute in design, develop and review program strategies as well as different intervention packages, manuals, materials related to Parenting, ECD Learning Centers, and early grades of primary education considering Programme Goal, Objectives and Standard for quality achievement of CSP objectives. The position will also be responsible to organize, facilitate and coordinate staff level trainings (TOT) on different thematic areas of ECD and Gender Responsive and Inclusive Pedagogy. S/he will work in a team for developing implementation standard, monitoring and supervision mechanism, advocacy and networking of ECD issues of Plan International Bangladesh to achieve its CSP objectives.

The role

ECD Specialist will be working in close collaboration with other colleagues of Technical Team and also Partner Organizations. He/She needs to works in partnership with MoPME, MoWCA, DPE, NCTB, BSA, different national and international NGOs, Networks, and forums related to networking and advocacy issues. This role represents ECD and others Education programme of Plan International Bangladesh in local level through attending seminar, workshop, coordination meeting etc. In addition to that needs to works as PO point person of ‘Gender Transformative Early Childhood Development (GT-ECD) Project.

What we’re looking for

We need a dynamic & vibrant individual who brings momentous experience for developing implementation standard, monitoring and supervision mechanism, advocacy and networking of ECD issues of Plan International Bangladesh to achieve its CSP objectives.

An advanced degree (Masters degree) in education or social science with diploma in education and minimum of 4-6 (four to six) years work experience at senior level having expertized on ECD focusing Gender & Inclusion, early grades of primary education will add value.

Salary Package: BDT. BDT. 85000 to 96000  (monthly, Cost to the company, based on experience) along with other benefits i.e., hospitalization benefit for spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, group insurance and yearly medical check-up for employee.
