Hiring consultant/consulting firm to carry out Baseline Study in the project “Child Bride to Bookworm (Christmas Calendar 2019), Reducing School Dropout in Urban Slums of Bangladesh”

Plan International started its operation in Bangladesh in 1994. Presently under country strategy-V, Plan International Bangladesh is implementing programmes in the following  AOGD (areas of global distinctiveness) areas such as LEAD, SRHR, SOYEE. The project is contributed in the SRHR and SOYEE theme. In this connection it is worth mentioning that Plan International Bangladesh has reputation to implement project in educational institute so long. The Christmas Calendar project is continuation of our effort at schools which will be implemented in pre secondary schools.

The project started in 2020 in 20 schools of Dhaka.  The main goal of the project is to increase the number of girls and boys from urban slums who completes quality education in the  pre-secondary school level in Dhaka. Due to current school shut down the activities of project yet to start in the schools. However, before the start of intervention, Plan International Bangladesh intends to undertake a baseline study to capture the current situation in the project implementation areas.  To conduct the baseline study a consultant/consulting firm will be hired as per these Terms of Reference (TOR).

Submission of Proposal

Interested consultant/consulting firms are requested to submit a technical and a financial proposal through email at Planbd.consultant.hiring@plan-international.org with a cover letter addressing the Administrative Coordinator of Administration, Plan International Bangladesh. The deadline of proposal submission is the 22nd November 2020.
