Petromax Cylinders Ltd. is a cylinder manufacturing plant at Mirzapur, Tangail; partnering with world class equipment providers. The facility is currently capable of producing 5, 50,000 units annually. The process contains Body Forming Line, Welding Line, Foot Ring and Guard Ring Production Line, Surface Treatment and Painting Line, Cylinder Test Equipment etc.

Currently the company is looking for the following position:
 
Position Name: Engineer/ Sr. Engineer - (QC)
 
Job Description / Responsibility:
   
  • Responsible to ensure the quality of all incoming raw materials   as per DOT, BS EN or equivalent standards.
  • Responsible to control the Quality of forming, welding, Heat Treatment & Painting   line’s output.
  • Responsible to maintain the welding Quality as per DOT 4BA 240 and DOT4BW 240 Standard.
  • Responsible for  all NDT & DT activities (X-ray, PT, UT for thickness measurement, burst test & etc),
  • Responsible for NDT operation (X-ray) with X-Ray room facilities, Film interpretation, NDT reporting etc.
  • Assist to supply chain management department for purchasing raw materials & consumables items.
Educational Qualification:
   
  • B. Sc Engineer (Mechanical)
  • Preference will be given to the Candidates of BUET, RUET, KUET and CUET.
Experience Requirements:
   
  • 3 to 5 years in relevant field
