Firdaus Nasir Trust Hospital, an initiative of Alliance Holdings Limited, is a charitable 10-bed healthcare facility dedicated to providing affordable yet high-quality medical services to underprivileged communities in Bangladesh. Our mission is to ensure that healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of financial status. We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and experienced Hospital Administrator to oversee operations and ensure that the hospital runs efficiently while upholding its mission of charitable service.

Hospital Administrator

Location: Firdaus Nasir Trust Charitable Health Complex, [Mirzapur, Tangail, Bangladesh]

Corporate Office: The Alliance Building, 63 Pragati Sarani, Baridhara, Dhaka - 1212

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable (Based on Experience)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Hospital Operations & Administration

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of all hospital departments.
  • Develop and implement hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure quality patient services.
  • Prepare and send daily reports to the head office and ensure good communication.
  • Ensure emergency response readiness for urgent medical cases.

2. Financial Management & Budgeting

  • Help manage hospital finances, ensuring efficient allocation of funds for medical services and operations.
  • Work with donors and funding bodies to secure grants, sponsorships, and community contributions.
  • Ensure cost-effective procurement of medicines, medical equipment, and supplies while maintaining quality.
  • Prepare financial reports and donor updates on hospital performance and resource utilization.

3. Human Resource & Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage medical and non-medical staff, ensuring alignment with the hospital’s charitable mission.
  • Schedule and oversee doctors and medical team offering free services.
  • Create a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages staff motivation and commitment to service.

4. Patient Care & Community Engagement

  • Ensure high-quality patient care while keeping treatment affordable or free for underprivileged individuals.
  • Develop outreach programs, such as free health camps, family planning programs to expand healthcare access.
  • Address patient concerns and feedback to continuously improve hospital services.
  • Educate the community on preventive healthcare, maternal health, and chronic disease management.

5. Regulatory Compliance & Healthcare Standards

  • Ensure the hospital complies with Bangladesh’s healthcare laws, licensing, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and medical records for audits and donor reporting.
  • Oversee infection control, hygiene, and waste management in line with public health standards.

6. Fundraising & Donor Relations

  • Build and maintain relationships with local and international donors, NGOs, and government agencies.
  • Organize fundraising campaigns, charity events, and awareness programs to sustain hospital operations.
  • Ensure transparent financial reporting to maintain trust and credibility with donors and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Public health, management or any related field.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years in hospital or healthcare management, preferably but not limited to charitable or non-profit healthcare settings.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in budgeting, grant writing, and donor relations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle medical emergencies and crisis situations.
  • Excellent writing, communication and negotiation skills in Bengali and English to engage with donors, healthcare professionals, and the community.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills ( word, excel, powerpoint, E-mail).
