Position: Software Engineer - Service Level 2

Application Development Service:

The Application Development Service includes but not limited to analyzing, designing, constructing, testing, and implementing business and technical IT solutions using suitable software development life cycle methodologies with a particular focus on Windows-based platforms. Their skill progression spans from basic programming tasks to specialized roles in single disciplines and extends to advanced areas such as cross-disciplinary functions, data engineering, industry expertise, knowledge engineering, and legacy system evolution.

Further scope of Service includes:

  • Develop and maintain software applications according to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of applications through testing and optimization.
  • Provides escalations Level 1/2 Technical support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Software Engineer- Service Level 2

Contractor will provide Senior Software Engineer, which will meet, but is not limited to the following minimum requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Expertise in multiple programming languages (e.g., ASP.NET, Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
  • Extensive experience with software development frameworks and tools (e.g., .NET, Angular).
  • Extensive experience with Windows-based development environments and tools (e.g., Visual Studio, Windows Forms, WPF).
  • Advanced experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, React).
  • In-depth knowledge of Restful APls and web services.
  • Expertise in automated testing frameworks
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with micro services architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Advanced knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Must have project management experience
  • Provide business continuity Planning, Disaster Recovery support.
  • Researches new technologies to address operations reliability and compliance.
  • Must have strong proficiency in both spoken and written English.

Education

  • (Masters of Science (MSc)/ Bachelor of Science(BSc) from any reputed University.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years in similar position.
  • Good understanding of the soft services market sector. 
  • Essential: Proven track record of in Computer Science / IT support Service.

Special Requirements/Skills

  • Good communication skills in both English and Bengali.
  • Ability to work with a team to achieve set targets.
  • Should be smart, dynamic and proactive with positive thinking approach.
  • Working in Cleaning Company/ Facility Management Services will add advantage.
  • Ability to lead & develop people and ready to work under stress & pressure.

Location: Dhaka & Sylhet

Age Limit: Preferably 45 years.
