Deputy Head - Sales & Marketing

Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Achieve specified targets by winning new contracts within the country. Develop high-level relationships with prospective clients in the Business & Industry sector. The role will operate across all facets of the Business & Industry sector, including Cleaning, Security, and TFM.
  • Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues with other team members. Assist all Departmental Heads in implementing company policies and procedures as and when required.
  • Maintain and develop a wide network of contacts in the Business and Industry marketplace to ensure the company is invited to as many bidding opportunities as possible.
  • Ensure that all proposals are innovative, accurate, compliant, timely, and professionally presented, including an executive summary outlining the benefits of our proposal.
  • Prepare and undertake a thorough handover to operational colleagues once each contract is secured.
  • Follow up and provide feedback on sales leads.
  • Responsible for achieving the company's sales targets and developing new clients. Duties include preparing costing, proposals, weekly sales reports, monthly sales reports, follow-up reports, monthly achievement reports, quotations, and tender preparation and submission.
  • Provide the team with a vision of the project objectives, motivate and inspire team members, and facilitate problem-solving and collaboration.
  • Visit the targeted number of customers, maintain customer relations, and analyze customer research, current market conditions, and competitor information.
  • Deliver marketing activities within the agreed budget and develop a pricing strategy.
  • Ensure all work quoted adheres to company policy and consult with the operations team as required.
  • Ensure all service quotation presentations are properly formatted according to company standards/guidelines.
  • Ensure that contract start-up is completed to customer’s satisfaction.
  • Follow up on all sales presentations and continually update information on local market trends and competition.
  • Assist in dealing with payment problems as required.
  • Meet with customers after sales to ensure the quality of work and customer satisfaction with the services provided.

Education

  • Masters/ MBA in Marketing from any reputed University.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5-10 years in similar position.
    Good understanding of the soft services market sector. 
  • Essential: Proven track record of in Business Development with evidence of winning New Business from the start of any sales process.

Special Requirements/Skills

  • Good communication skills in both English and Bengali.
  • Ability to work with a team to achieve set targets.
  • Should be smart, dynamic and proactive with positive thinking approach.
  • Working in Cleaning Company/ Facility Management Services will add advantage.
  • Ability to lead & develop people and ready to work under stress & pressure.

Age Limit: Preferably 45 years.

Salary: Negotiable
