About the role

Based in Cox’s Bazar Ukhiya/Teknaf, the Assistant Accounts Officer is responsible for managing transaction processing, recording, banking, reporting of different projects funded by different donor in close collaboration with different budget holders, internal units and partner organizations.


  • Responsible for financial and accounting management of different project funded by UN Organizations including IOM, Helvatus and etc.
  • Review budget holder reports and ensure proper coding to charge proper budget line.
  • Transaction processing, record keeping, review, voucher entry.
  • Support external and internal auditors of donors and appointed external auditors to review financial transactions, documents and prepare financial statements for the auditors.
  • Support administration unit for procurement process based on approved budget.

About you

  • Graduate preferably B. Com/BBA in Accounting, Finance or Management.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in the development sector.
  • Good knowledge computer based accounting system and advance skill in excel.
  • Excellent facilitation, coordination, team management, reporting and presentation skill.
  • Dynamic and creative, keen to learn, can collaborate with multiple groups and inspire others, takes responsibilities for on-time delivery.
  • Negotiation and interpersonal skill.
  • Fluency in English language and proficiency in computer application.
