Ozeol International is a buying office that specializes in purchasing overstock, clearance and closeout items for a 285 stores chain located in France. The categories include all consumer goods as: men’s and women’s, kids clothing, shoes, housewares, giftware, toys, food and many other goods that are primarily closeout merchandise. Ozeol has recently expanded into the Bangladesh Market with an office in Dhaka and is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join the team.

We have purchasing teams in Tunisia, Romania, Taiwan, USA and India. Our development strategy involves significant worldwide expansion through Asia and South America.

Main Job Purpose

We are recruiting to fulfill our ambitious development needs to open new offices and this position has two main job purposes:

➢ Setting up our new office with the support of a business developer

• Taking part in the recruitment process
• Supporting the office setup
• Taking part of the training

➢ Managing on daily basis a team of prospectors and buyers:

• Being the leader your purchasing team will need
• Ensuring commercial target achievement
• Organizing prospection among your market
• Ensuring interface with our French customer
• Following up orders until delivery
• Being accountable for your office

Profile Requirements:

➢ Minimum experience: 5 years
➢ Management experience with dynamic and challenging environment
➢ Professional working proficiency in English
➢ Experience in your cultural market environment (for the country you will work in)
➢ Experience in Purchasing or Sales
➢ Commercially minded
➢ Ability for analysis and synthesis
➢ International Mobility

Additional but not mandatory:

➢ French retail market understanding
➢ French speaking and writing
