The Role:

The Transboundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA) is a regional program supported by the Government of Sweden that works to reduce poverty and marginalization in vulnerable river basin communities by improving their access to and control over water resources. Operating in the Ganges-Brahmaputra-Meghna (GBM) river basins across Nepal, India, and Bangladesh, TROSA partners with local communities, civil society, governments, and the private sector. Its continuation, TROSA2: Rivers, Rights and Resilience (T2:3R), focuses on enhancing cooperation in shared water management and strengthening community resilience. In Bangladesh, TROSA2 works with RDRS in the Brahmaputra Basin and CNRS in the lower and upper Meghna Basins.

Volunteers will be responsible for collecting data using mobile tools like KOBO, submitting it to the designated dashboard within deadlines, and reporting as required. They should be familiar with local languages or customs (if relevant to the location) and be able to work under pressure while adapting to changing field conditions.

Location: Any locations between Feni, Noakhali, Cumilla, Laxmipur (with field visits as per requirement).

Job type: Volunteer.

Salary & Benefits: An inspirational remuneration of BDT. 1000/= for each working day for food and local conveyance purpose.
